Top of The Hill is back – and it’s better than ever! The 2nd annual Top of the Hill event returns to the beautiful Arasapha Farms (Bates Motel just in time for the Halloween season) in Glen Mills, PA on Thursday, September, 20. This family-and-fun-centric event is a fundraiser that helps so many people around the world – lives will be changed.

“We are so excited to see the Philly support for not only us but for our foundation and the local schools we give to,” enthused Heidi Hamels. “This event gives so much back to our schools and communities around the world, giving these children and their families the tools they need to create and sustain a successful life.”

Proceeds from this year’s event will go towards the Namunda Primary School in Malawi, Africa and the Greenhouse Project at W. B. Saul School in Philadelphia. We got involved with W.B. Saul’s Greenhouse Project two years ago when we renovated the main greenhouse. This year, we are raising funds to add two new heating units as well as some additional repairs.

We are also excited to raise funds for our Namunda Primary School, specifically for books to transform the library. With over 623 students, most of which utilize the library before and after school to complete homework, it is our goal to fill each empty shelf, so that every student has equal access to such vital educational resources. At Top of the Hill, you can donate books that support the school’s approved curriculum by purchasing a book at the event and filling out the “Donated By” label inside. The books, as well as book bags, will be light enough to pack in our suitcases and delivered to Malawi in early spring of 2019. We will also have a bookshelf on the stage that will showcase your donated books throughout the night. Our goal is to have this bookshelf completely full by the night’s end! Donate a book and change a child’s life. #noemptyshelves

Top of the Hill, brought to you by All Worldwide Travel, will feature a variety of fun activities including hay rides, carnival games, a bounce house, a petting zoo, and live music by HH Entertainment’s Lee Gantt and Sara Spicer, which will keep the crowd on their feet and singing along! Adults and kids alike can enjoy a variety of drinks, snacks, and carnival-style food. In addition, guests can bid on amazing items during a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind autographed items, gift certificates, and more.

It’s going to be an unforgettable event, and we want you there. We’re happy to announce that Philadelphia Phillies 2008 World Series players Ryan Howard, Kyle Kendrick, and Cole Hamels will be at our event! If you’re a local Phillies fan, be sure to purchase your photo opportunities – individuals and group available – at Top of the Hill!

“No matter where in the world you are or your particular circumstances: Education is the answer!”, says Kathy Greene, COO of The Hamels Foundation. We also believe that no matter where in the world you are, you can make a difference…lucky for you Philly-area supporters, it’s right in your backyard!

Tickets are just $50 in advance for adults, $20 for children ages 3-12 years of age. We also offer a family ticket package at $125 for a family of 5, which includes two adults tickets and 3 child tickets.

See you on September 20, Top of the Hill!
