For the second year in a row, teams will compete to build dreams through sports & education.

We are proud to announce our partnership with Philadelphia Baseball Training’s upcoming youth tournament season for a second consecutive year! Philadelphia Baseball Tournaments & Training provides young athletes with the most enjoyable, competitive and positive playing experience possible. As an organization, they pride theirselves in promoting sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly player development.

Last year, we saw over 40 teams from age 8U-14U compete all weekend long battling to capture their bracket championship. Instead of presenting each winning team with trophies, each team presented a $500 check towards the Namunda Primary School’s sports facility. We were happy to get involved on-site selling merchandise, spreading awareness, and raffling off some awesome prizes including Cole Hamels autographed memorabilia. In total, over $4,000 was raised and was a tremendously successful weekend.

This year, our mission is to change lives and improve communities around the globe through quality educational resources and opportunities. How are we going to accomplish this? By teaming up with Philly Baseball Tournaments, we’re building dreams through sports and education. Sports have proven to have a positive impact on educational outcomes including academic performance, greater inclusivity, and participation in the classroom, as well as improvements to student health and preparedness for the future. By supporting Memorial Day Tournament for Education, you’ll be making a direct impact on the completion of the school campus for the children of the Namunda Village!
