GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS

OUR GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAM

Annually, The Hamels Foundation provides financial grants to schools in order to support educational opportunities for children in the communities that we serve. In addition, our scholarship program gives financial aid to graduating seniors from select high schools to help cover the cost of higher education. Our goal is to meet the educational needs of children and see them succeed.

  • SUBMISSION OF GRANT APPLICATION

All applications must be submitted by April 1st of each calendar year.

  • REVIEW OF QUALIFIED APPLICATIONS

All grant requests that fall within our specific mission will be reviewed by a committee. In some instances, site visits and/or in-person interviews may be requested to obtain additional information regarding the submitted grant.

  • NOTIFICATION OF AWARDS

Notifications of awards will be made 6-8 weeks from application due dates via e-mail or phone. Approval/denial letters will also be mailed.

  • IN-PERSON MEETING

Once notifications are made, those educational institutions and/or organizations that are selected for funding may be required to meet in person with members of The Hamels Foundation staff to review the required process of fulfilling approved grants.
