Happy New Year! We are so excited to welcome 2019, since 2018 was such a busy year for us and we aren’t slowing down anytime soon.
In fact, we are excited to announce the launch of our 2019 Partners in Education Grant! Two chosen schools will win $10,000 and $5,000 for their programs and projects.
At The Hamels Foundation, we wish we could accommodate every single request that we get, but we must be selective in choosing schools that most closely align with our educational mission and interests. Our mission is to enrich the lives of children through the power of education by giving them the tools they need to achieve their goals.
We are honored schools ask us to help them with the tools needed for education, such as sustainable programs, construction projects, educational supplies, and here’s how your school can become a Partner in Education!
The grant is open to any public or private school in the United States, serving grades K-12. We want to empower youth to further their goals, with confidence and success, while seeing the results of their hard work and feeling secure in their choices, while helping themselves and others.
To enter, a teacher or administrator must fill out the application. Once the application is received and reviewed, a Hamel Foundations red t-shirt will be sent to you. Wear this t-shirt in a 30-second video telling us why education is important. Once you have created your video, upload it to your school’s or personal social media platform of your choice (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter) and tag The Hamels Foundation.

The application period is open until April 1st, 2019 – or until 100 submissions are received. The winners will be revealed on May 6th, 2019, just in time to kick off Teacher Appreciation Week!
We are so excited to see your applications, watch your videos, and hear how important education is to your school, your students and you. If you have any questions, or to read full details of the Grant, click here.
