Upper Darby native Jamie Kennedy told us yesterday that he and girlfriend Jennifer Love Hewitt planned to attend last night's Phillies game to watch "The Mannyless Dodgers" The couple are in town this week and next shooting "Cafe," an indie film written by Marc Erlbaum.

"Ugly Betty" beauty Vanessa Williams and a stylist browsed the Pier Shops at Caesars in Atlantic City over the weekend picking up makeup at Cos Bar and a few silk tunic tops at Scoop NYC.

* Cradle of Liberty Council Boy Scouts of America inducted Phillies outfielder Shane Victorino into the Eagle Scouts Hall of Fame in a ceremony Monday at the Downtown Marriott Hotel. Victorino shared memories of his time as an Eagle Scout in Hawaii and says his mother helped him earn the rank. On Monday Victorino also attended the Please Touch Museum fundraiser that Heidi and Cole Hamels threw for The Hamels Foundation.

Giving to the Community

Today's a day off as far as the schedule is concerned. The organization from the front office through the clubhouse is dedicated to giving back to the community. Today is a busy one:

**Ryan Howard participated in "Baseball Design Across America", a tour that stopped in Philadelphia this morning. The event involves SUBWAY and Little League Baseball. 30 uniquely-designed baseballs created by Little Leaguers and signed by various celebrities such as Ryan will be available on an online auction. Proceeds benefit Little League Baseball.

**Ruben Amaro Jr., Jamie Moyer, Chase Utley, Brad Lidge, Larry Andersen and Bill Giles will participate in the Ashburn Foundation Night Dinner this evening at Morton's restaurant. Theme is a tribute to Harry Kalas.

**Cole and Heidi Hamels are hosting their first annual Carnival to Benefit the Hamels Foundation at the Please Touch Museum. The foundation raises funds for local schools in need and provides aid through education in Malawi, Africa. Cole will be joined by some of his teammates who are doing a charity doubleheader, starting at the Ashburn event.

Phillies Scoop: Home-run barrage not to Lidge's liking

The Phillies don't have a game Monday, but nearly every player and both Manuel and general manager Ruben Amaro have commitments that should keep them busy.

Lidge, Amaro, Jamie Moyer, Chase Utley and Larry Andersen are among those expected to attend the annual Ashburn Foundation Dinner at Morton's Steakhouse in Center City, which will honor late Hall of Fame Broadcaster Harry Kalas.

Cole and Heidi Hamels are hosting the Inaugural Carnival to benefit the Hamels Foundation. The event, which is being held at the Please Touch Museum, will support local schools in need and provides aid through education in Malawi, Africa.

Manuel will be recognized at the Southern New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle Awards Dinner at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill, N.J.

Shane Victorino is being inducted into the Eagle Scout Hall of Fame at the Downtown Marriott in Philadelphia.
